The IANR 2014 Conference was held on 30 November 2014 with the aim to foster a future-oriented scientific Dialogue on various complementary approaches to help individuals with Neurological and Developmental Disabilities and Conditions including Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Stroke, Brain Injuries, etc.
While the field of Conventional Medicine has made significant progress in the management of such conditions, significant challenges remain for patients and their families.
Recently however there are other promising approaches from the areas of Alternative and Integrative Medicine, e.g. Homeopathy, Meditation, Yogic Breathing, Music Therapy, etc that can go hand-in-hand with conventional methods.
Our own evidence-based research with G Therapy (NeuroG) Medicine that has showed documented improvements in over 10,000 Patients with neurological disabilities from 40+ Countries is one such approach - see www.autismtreatmentindia.com / www.g-therapy.org for more.
IANR 2014 aimed to bring together various such promising approaches, and discuss possibilities for them to work together in the future of neuro rehabilitation.
The Conference was Organized and Hosted by Dr. Gunvant Oswal, Director at our Center for Life Sciences, Health and Medicine at our award-winning campus in the city of Pune, India in association with Hulet Smith, OTR/L, MBA, Pediatric Occupational Therapist and CEO, Rehabmart, LLC (www.rehabmart.com/about).
